Terms of Service and End User License Agreement

Terms of service

Effective October 18, 2026

The short version. Transform Airports is for working aviation professionals. Be accurate and respectful, post only what you have the right to share, and follow the community guidelines. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. It is not an emergency channel.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Transform Airports ("we", "us"), the developer and operator of the Transform Airports app and service. They include the community guidelines and our privacy policy. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

3. Your content

You own the notes, photos and profile details you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and share that content to run the service. That includes delivering notes to the airport they concern, sharing them with that airport's teams and showing them to verified members. The license continues for notes that remain in the service after you delete your account, which are kept without your name.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it doesn't break any law, any duty of confidentiality, or anyone else's rights. Don't post security-sensitive information, such as access codes, restricted-area procedures or screening details.

4. Zero tolerance for abuse

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, defamation, personal data about others and anything else prohibited by the community guidelines is not allowed.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:

6. Not for emergencies

Transform Airports is not monitored around the clock and is not a way to report emergencies, safety hazards that need immediate action, or security threats. In those cases, contact airport operations, airport police or your local emergency number right away.

7. The service

We work to deliver every note, but we can't promise that an airport will read, act on or respond to it. Airports and their teams make their own decisions. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we may set limits on use, such as how many notes can be sent in an hour. We'll give notice of major changes where we reasonably can.

The app, its design and its software belong to us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as these terms and the App Store's usage rules allow.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile, then Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your eligibility changes, or to protect members or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as the content license for notes that remain, disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Notes reflect their authors' views, not ours, and we don't verify that they are correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you post or from your breach of these terms.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you got the app from Apple's App Store, these terms also apply:

  1. Acknowledgement. These terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  2. Scope of license. Your license is limited to using the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Family members and other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing may also use it.
  3. Maintenance and support. We alone are responsible for maintenance and support, as described on our support page. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
  4. Warranty. We are responsible for any product warranties that the law does not allow us to disclaim. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
  5. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  6. Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Developer name and address. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Transform Airports at [email protected].
  9. Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app, such as your mobile carrier's or network's terms.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, ask you to review and accept them in the app before you continue. If you don't accept, you can delete your account.
