Community guidelines
Transform Airports is a network of verified professionals who run and work at airports, working together to make them better. To keep it useful and respectful, every member agrees to these rules before taking part. They are the same rules shown in the app, with a little more detail.
What you may post
Operational observations, photos and suggestions about airports you have worked at or visited. Your notes are visible to other verified members and are shared with the teams at the airport they concern.
Notes that get results
- Be specific. Say where and when: the terminal, gate or checkpoint, and the time of day.
- Describe, don't vent. Explain what you saw and why it matters to passengers, staff or operations.
- Suggest a fix when you have one. Practical ideas are the most useful notes of all.
- Recognize what works. Positive notes tell airport teams what to protect and repeat.
- Mind your photos. Frame the facility, not the people in it, and never photograph screening areas, security procedures or restricted spaces where photography isn't allowed.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats or personal attacks.
- Sexual, violent or graphic content.
- Spam, advertising or off-topic content.
- Personal data about identifiable people, including passengers, employees and travelers, such as names, faces, boarding passes or contact details.
- Security-sensitive information, such as access codes, restricted-area procedures or screening details.
- Defamatory or knowingly false statements, or impersonating someone else.
- Content that violates any law or anyone else's rights.
Reporting and enforcement
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members.
- Report. Every note has a Report button. Choose a reason and add details if you like.
- Review within 24 hours. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours. Notes with several reports are hidden while we look.
- Removal and suspension. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed, and the member who posted it may be suspended or permanently removed.
- Block. You can block any member. Their notes no longer appear for you, and they can't see yours.
If you see something that needs urgent attention, email [email protected] as well as reporting it in the app.
Not for emergencies
Transform Airports isn't monitored around the clock. For emergencies, safety hazards or security threats, contact airport operations, airport police or your local emergency number right away.
Your account and your data
Your account is by invitation or approved request, and is tied to your professional identity. You may delete your account at any time in Profile, then Delete account, which removes your profile and personal data. Notes you sent may be kept without your name so airport teams keep the institutional context. Read the privacy policy and terms of service for the details.
